What connections should my loudspeaker cable have?

Loudspeaker connectors (Speaker plugs) are provided with your Uniti Star.

No, it is not possible to change the clock size.

It is not possible to set up Network Shares on a Uniti Star.

Where is the digital output?

There is no digital output on the Uniti Star.

How do you use the pre-amp?

The preamplifier output is taken after the Uniti Star volume & balance controls. Peripheral equipment connected to it will respond to Uniti Star volume and balance control changes. The output always reflects the selected input signal.

MQA is not supported on the new Uniti range.

Cannot rip a CD

If you find you can not rip a CD it means the Music Store you are trying to rip it to is unreachable (This may mean it is offline or a possible corruption to your storage device). Make sure you have internal or network storage setup.

My CD is stuck — Manual CD Removal

To manually remove the CD locate the Manual Eject hole on the front of the Uniti Star. Insert a Paperclip in to the Manual Eject hole. Push the Paperclip in until the CD ejects for the Uniti Star.

When you rip a CD that has already been ripped, what happens?

The new rip will overwrite the existing data on the music store.

What happens if a CD is ripped when no internet connection is available?

Tracks will be assigned default names and then the Uniti Star as a background task will automatically do the look-up when internet is available.

How do I reset the Uniti Star to Factory Default Settings?

Firstly unplug any connected speakers and the power cable. Press the Play/ Pause and Input buttons on the front panel while powering up the Uniti Star. Continue to hold for 5 seconds. Release the Play/ Pause and Input buttons. Wait for the Uniti Star to complete the factory reset and go into Stand-by. Press the Power button to power up the product.

When formatting an external Store, what file format should I choose?

The file format choice depends on which type of computer operating system computer you use. NTFS: Windows HFS+: MAC EXT: LINUX.* All these file formats are supported by the Uniti Star, but if plugging the drive directly into another computer, the ability of the computer to read the drive will depend on the file format structure supported.
