What's the difference between UPnP and DNLA?

DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) is effectively a subset of UPnP (Universal Plug n Play) which includes some restrictions to the UPnP standard around formats supported. Beyond this they can generally be considered synonymous in practical terms and because your Naim network player supports UPnP it will connect to virtually any DLNA server
